　　問題1：How long have you known the applicant and in what connection? If applicable, briefly describe the applicants role in your organization.Please comment on the frequency and context of your interaction. (250-word limit)

　　分析：這個問題是問推薦人和申請認識的時間、場合以及關(guān)系。

　　如果有工作關(guān)系，請描述一下申請人的職位等等。

　　這個問題的主要目的是考察申請人和推薦人的關(guān)系，看看推薦人是否真的很熟悉申請人的情況，就是對申請人了解的程度，這也就決定了推薦信的份量和可信度。

　　問題2：What do you consider the applicants talents or strengths? (250-word limit)

　　分析：這個問題要推薦人介紹一下申請人的'天賦和長處。

　　如果推薦人和申請人只是一般的關(guān)系，并無很深的了解，這個問題就不是很好回答，可能只是簡單地談一談。

　　其實，這個問題的最好的回答方式是，既要使用描述性的語句，也要使用具體的例子來說明申請人的優(yōu)點。

　　分析：這個是問申請人有什么缺點和可以改進的地方。

　　一般學校都會問到類似的問題，如果推薦人只是敷衍了事地說沒有，要么是推薦人不了解申請人，要么是故意不說。

　　當然，這個問題是能短則短，說多了可能引起誤會，反而不利于申請人。

　　問題5：The predominant method of instruction at Harvard Business School is case-based learning. It is a highly interactive experience requiring the proficient use of English-reading, speaking, listening, writing and integrating "real time". 　　分析：這個問題是要求推薦人對申請人的各項能力進行打分，是屬于5%最優(yōu)秀的一類呢，還是屬于10%比較優(yōu)秀的呢，還是50%表現(xiàn)一般的呢。

　　這個是個表格的問題，只需要簡單地用數(shù)字來回答，不需要過多地發(fā)揮。

　　問題2：How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?

　　分析：推薦人是在什么場合認識申請人的，認識多久了。

　　這個問題基本是所有商學院都會問到的。

　　問題3：What do you consider the applicants strengths?

　　分析：這是讓推薦人介紹申請人的優(yōu)點和長處。

　　問題4：In which areas could the applicant exhibit growth or improvement?

　　分析：這是讓推薦人說明一下申請人可以改進的地方或者有待提高的地方。

　　問題5：Please outline the applicants major accomplishments to date during his/her tenure at the organization.

　　分析：請描述一下申請人在和推薦人工作時的主要業(yè)績。

　　推薦人在回答這個問題的時候一定要用工作中的例子來說明申請人取得的成就，最好是從幾個不同的側(cè)面來說明問題，比如，一個在 Team Work 上的例子，一個在 Leadership 上的例子，一個在 Personality 方面的例子。

　　值得注意的是，一般來說，這個問題申請人在寫論文時也會被問到，所以要避免用相同的例子和類似的'表達方式，一是為了避免重復，二是更增加推薦信的可信度。

　　問題6：How would you describe the applicants ability to interact with, motivate, and develop team members?

　　分析：這也是在問申請人在交流方面的能力，激發(fā)同事的能力和幫助別人的能力。

　　商學院都很重視學生的交流能力，所以推薦人要強調(diào)申請人的英文水平和表達能力，也要強調(diào)申請人的領(lǐng)導才能，激發(fā)別人的工作激情的能力。
