Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

這節(jié)課學(xué)的是圣誕節(jié)的內(nèi)容。mark先問(wèn)我們喜不喜歡圣誕節(jié)，又問(wèn)我們喜不喜歡禮物，“yes！”我們大聲回答。mark用調(diào)皮的眼神掃了一眼大家，說(shuō)了一串我們聽(tīng)不懂的英語(yǔ)，我們大眼瞪小眼，懵了……謝老師及時(shí)解圍：“同學(xué)們，我們先看一個(gè)視頻，了解一下sally，kate和ben喜歡什么圣誕禮物吧！”這個(gè)視頻很短，十分容易。我一下子就懂了。后面，mark提的問(wèn)題我也明白。我高高地舉起了手，沒(méi)想到，mark真的請(qǐng)了我回答。他問(wèn)我叫什么名字，我回答：“mynameisbella！”老師豎起大拇指夸獎(jiǎng)了我。

下課了，我們戀戀不舍地和mark拜拜。回家時(shí)，我和媽媽講述了這段經(jīng)歷。她說(shuō)：“以前，我們學(xué)英語(yǔ)叫啞巴英語(yǔ)，為了記住讀音，我們還用中文來(lái)音譯。哪像你們，可以直接和老外對(duì)話，真是太幸福了！”
