命題作文是依據(jù)所給題目，確定中心，選擇材料，寫出符合題意，內(nèi)容表達(dá)具體、充分的文章。寫命題作文通常要注意以下幾點(diǎn)：
一、審準(zhǔn)題目：
文章的中心要對題目的分析來確定，一定要弄清主題的內(nèi)涵，確立與文章聯(lián)系的主題思想，表達(dá)不能游離于主題，否則即使內(nèi)容再精彩，也是跑題作文，得分將會大打折扣，因此，寫命題作文最重要的是先審清題目，確立要表現(xiàn)的中心。
二、構(gòu)思結(jié)構(gòu)：
就是開放思路，啟動(dòng)聯(lián)想，構(gòu)想表現(xiàn)形式，勾勒出文章的結(jié)構(gòu)層次，依次寫出引言段，主題句，發(fā)展段和結(jié)尾句，努力使之新穎，別致。
三、選擇材料：
這一點(diǎn)很重要，一定要圍繞想表現(xiàn)的中心去選擇組織材料，所選的材料必須典型精要。
四、表達(dá)：
就是用最確切明了的語言貫穿材料，表達(dá)自己的'思想，力爭用符合英語語法規(guī)則。英語表達(dá)習(xí)慣，最順暢自然的詞，句，段去表達(dá)中心思想，與表現(xiàn)中心無關(guān)的話即使再生動(dòng)形象也不要去寫。就寫作的目的表現(xiàn)形式來看，命題作文分為三種形式：

我今天講的就是我怎么“胡”過去的。下面我就來說說：
在前天我感覺作業(yè)特別多，有語文《習(xí)字冊》、英語背書，其中最難的.是準(zhǔn)備明天的英語演講。我可是一點(diǎn)也沒想呀！
首先我得想想該做主題是什么英語演講。是什么呢？是什么呢？是什么呢？……��！我終于想到了那就是：笑話。想到這個(gè)主題時(shí)，我立刻想到了英語報(bào)上的笑話。
我立刻翻開英語報(bào)查找起來。我查到了兩個(gè)笑話，一個(gè)是特別難的，一個(gè)特別簡單的。如果我選擇難的，明天的英語演講我就有許多單詞不會讀。如果我選擇簡單的，我怕到明天的英語演講結(jié)束時(shí)，會有很多同學(xué)瞧不起我。怎么辦？怎么辦？怎么辦？……我有陷入沉思。最后，經(jīng)過我再三考慮，我選擇簡單的。因?yàn)椴粫偙葧暮�，難道不是嗎？所以我以經(jīng)做好被嘲笑的準(zhǔn)備了。
新的一天開始了！
