　　這位老師的臉有點(diǎn)黑，但眼睛非常亮，像掛在黑暗天空上的兩顆星星，頭發(fā)卷卷的，像一個(gè)“小雞冠”，個(gè)子不高，有點(diǎn)胖，穿著一件灰色衣服，看上去很憨厚的樣子。我想，這位老師教我們學(xué)英語(yǔ)，行嗎？

　　開(kāi)始上課了。外籍老師和我們打過(guò)招呼后，教我們的第一個(gè)單詞是“跳舞”。外籍老師讀到這個(gè)單詞就立即活躍起來(lái)，做出一副跳舞的樣子，一會(huì)搖頭晃腦，一會(huì)東竄西跳，一會(huì)扭來(lái)扭去，跟我們一邊握手，一邊嘴里說(shuō)著“dance”。我們也被他深深感染，同學(xué)們立刻上竄下跳，嘴里喊著“dance”。就這樣，大家一下子記住了“跳舞”這個(gè)單詞。接著外籍老師又教我們唱了一些反義詞歌，他像小品演員似的`，一邊做各種搞笑夸張的動(dòng)作，一邊念著和動(dòng)作一致的英語(yǔ)單詞，讓我們快樂(lè)的學(xué)習(xí)，輕松地記住單詞。例如老師在教“帥氣”和“丑陋”這兩個(gè)英語(yǔ)單詞的時(shí)候，他挺胸抬頭，先用手摸一下他頭上的“小雞冠”，做出一個(gè)健美帥氣的動(dòng)作，神氣地說(shuō)：“smart”，我們一下子就明白了。接著，他齜牙咧嘴，做出丑陋的樣子，說(shuō)著“ugly”，我們看見(jiàn)他這樣就哄堂大笑，并且跟他學(xué)，外國(guó)老師不但沒(méi)有批評(píng)我們，還不斷向我們豎起大拇指。他讓我們盡情地自由活動(dòng)，一邊模仿，一邊發(fā)揮，一邊學(xué)單詞，我驚奇地發(fā)現(xiàn)：原來(lái)英語(yǔ)還可以這樣學(xué)習(xí)，太有趣了！

　　The share price of IBM and AOL showed a upward trend from June until the end of 1998.However, while AOL shares then continued to rise steadily over the next three months, the price of IBM shares fell slightly. By March 1999 both shares were worth about $100.

　　AOL shares then shot up, almost doubling in value within four weeks. They reached a high of $180 in mid-April before collapsing to just over $100 per share at the beginning of May. There was a slight recovery during that month however, despite this by June 1999 the price of AOL shares was once again about $100. In contrast, despite minor fluctuations, IBM shares made a steady recovery over the three month period, finishing at just over $100, almost equal to AOL.
