老媽學(xué)英語的'熱情日益高漲，因而我的苦難就日益加深，每當(dāng)老媽問我英文的時候，一般我都會先吃三片阿司匹林，纏好繃帶，再運上龜背神功至第十二重。
這不，她老人家又來問我了——
老媽：“這個‘I＇m very annoyed，don＇t trouble me.’是什么意思？”
我說：“啊……這個……我很煩，別煩我……”
老媽：“找打，跟你媽這么說話！”(于是被扁)
老媽又問：“‘I hear nothing，repeat.’是什么意思啊？”
我說：“我沒聽清，再說一次。”
老媽又說了一遍：“‘I hear nothing，repeat.’”
我說：“我沒聽清，再說一次！”(結(jié)果再次被扁)
老媽再問：“‘What do you say？’又怎么解釋呢？”
我說：“你說什么？”(又被扁)

我說：“查字典。”
老媽：“查字典我還問你做甚！”(扁我)
老媽又問：“‘You had better ask somebody.’怎么翻呢？”
我說：“你最好問別人�！�
老媽：“你是我兒子，我問別人干嗎，又找打……”
我起身要逃，被老媽抓了回來，又被扁！
老媽：“敢耍你老媽，哼哼！我再問你，‘Use your head，then think it over.’又是什么意思��？”
我說：“動動腦子，再仔細想想……”
老媽：“好小子，還敢耍我！”(接著又要動手)
我連忙說：“不對，不對，是‘世上只有媽媽好’的意思！”
老媽：“嗯！這還差不多，一會兒我給你做好吃的，明天再問你。”
第二天，我正在看碟，老媽捧了本書進來。
老媽：“這個‘I don＇t know.’是什么意思？”
我說：“我不知道�！�
老媽：“送你上大學(xué)上了幾年，你怎么什么都不知道！”
我說：不是！就是“我不知道”嗎！
老媽：“還嘴硬……”(拳腳相加，一頓暴揍)
過了一會兒。

老媽：“知道就快說！”

老媽：“找茬呀你？剛才收拾你收拾得輕了是不？”

老媽：“知道你還不說！不懂不要裝懂！”(又一頓暴揍)
老媽揍累了，喘氣中……
老媽：“你給我小心點，花那么多錢送你上大學(xué)，搞的現(xiàn)在什么都不會，懂一丁點英語還跟老娘擺譜，再問你最后一個，你給我好好解釋一下，說不出來我再收拾你。給我翻譯一下‘I know but I don’t want to tell you.’是什么意思？”
我暈倒，拿起枕頭往頭上暴砸三十幾下，用頭撞墻四十多下，雙手輪番抽自己嘴巴五十多下，用腿踢桌子角六十多下，血肉模糊之時，我問老媽：“意思是‘我知道，但我不想告訴你！’這下你滿意吧！”

Should people play games white they are working? People*s.attitudes toward it vary greatly. Some people regard it as a common phenomenon in office nowadays. They think playing games is a good way to kill liie boring time. At the same time, it can make them relaxed, which, in turn, can help them do their job efficiently*
However, some people have the opposite opinion. They think companies should prohibit their employees from playing games. They raaintain that playing games at work is an irresponsible behavior and a wrong working attitude which can exert a bad influence on their colleagues. Moreover, many serious mistakes are often made when people piay games during tbeir working time, because playing games distracts people's attention.
In my view, people s&outdi^t play games while on duty. Oa the one hand, pi ay mg games can occupy some of their time wbicb can be used to do something more important and meaningful, such as the further study of their working field and the improving of their working skills. On the other hand, playing online games takes up a lot of corporate network resources which may interfere with other colleagues work.

為了把英語學(xué)好，爺爺要求我和他用英語互相問候和對話。比如：每天早上他看到我起床就說一聲："Goodmorning（早上好）！"下午放學(xué)回家就說："Goodafternoon（下午好）！"等簡單的句子。有一次，我給爺爺?shù)沽吮�，他連忙說："Thankyou（謝謝）！"結(jié)果說成了"坦克油"，把我逗的捧腹大笑，差點把剛喝的水給噴了出來。在一旁吃飯的老爸更是笑得前俯后仰。奶奶也一邊笑一邊拍打著爺爺說："老頭子，你都這么大年紀(jì)了，普通話都說不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，還學(xué)英語呢，哈哈哈——"。爺爺故作鎮(zhèn)定的說："這有什么好笑的，不就是把音讀的重了一點嘛！"我連忙告訴爺爺說："爺爺，如果你把音讀重了，就有可能變成另外一個意思，那樣的話，外國人就有可能理解錯誤的。"爺爺聽了迫不及待的讓我教他，我耐心的一遍又一遍教他發(fā)音。雖然他的'發(fā)音還是不怎么標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，可他堅持不懈的精神值得我們?nèi)胰速潎@。
爺爺身體不太好，還有糖尿病，醫(yī)生叮囑過爺爺要保證睡眠的充足，可爺爺為了學(xué)好英語，晚上仍然堅持去上老年英語培訓(xùn)班。爸爸也曾勸他多休息，擔(dān)心過分的勞累會影響他的身體。但他堅定的對我們?nèi)胰苏f："為了北京的奧運，再大的困難也要堅持！"
在爺爺?shù)牟恍概ο拢挠⒄Z水平已有了一定的進步，基本的一些口語他都能比較流利的說出來。值得驕傲的是，在爺爺?shù)膸酉�，我們小區(qū)里的一些老年人都開始學(xué)起了英語，報上了老年英語培訓(xùn)班。
爺爺不僅有中國人的骨氣，還具有堅持不懈的精神。爺爺這種活到老學(xué)到老的精神，真值得我佩服！
