Compared with letter writing, telegraphy and other means of communications (通訊), making phone call is easy and interactive(互動(dòng)的). In case of emergency, urgent message can be sent out immediately.
Telephones are indispensable (不可缺少的) to communication (交際，溝通) between people. As a clear path of communications, making phone calls connects people when they are apart. Telephone lines not only convey information but also glue all relationships. With this convenient tool of modern communication, people may be out of sight, but never out of mind.

我是20xx年的考生，英語一直是考研的重要科目，作文更是重中之重，知己知彼 考研英語作文順利過關(guān)招數(shù)。英語可不是我擅長(zhǎng)的科目，我對(duì)英語的準(zhǔn)備也比較充分，我從大二開始就關(guān)注英語的復(fù)習(xí)，也積累了不少經(jīng)驗(yàn)，在這兒就把我個(gè)人的一些感覺和大家一起來分享。
考研作文一定要重視，他可是重中之重呀一點(diǎn)不感馬虎。對(duì)于作文，我有以下的幾點(diǎn)心得。
首先是利用好范文。我不主張背范文。但是經(jīng)典的句子一定要背。比如圖畫視作文的開頭，從描寫段到論述段的過渡段和過渡句，再有就是一些萬能句子。
比如：Although the drive to protect XXX interests and rights is a long-standing and strenuous one ，our joint efforts will eventually pay off .像這樣的句子，可以用在很多題材中。如果在作文中，每段都能用上這樣的幾個(gè)句子，肯定會(huì)被認(rèn)為是一篇不錯(cuò)的文章。開始練習(xí)的時(shí)候，首先就是積累這樣的句子，積累的句子不一定要多，但是一定要背熟。同時(shí)，還要積累一些表達(dá)遞進(jìn)、原因、建議、號(hào)召等等常用的過渡。你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)好的一篇文章，每個(gè)句子和句子之間都不是機(jī)械的一句一句的敘述下來的，他們之間都有小小的銜接和過渡，這就是所謂的技巧，因?yàn)檫@樣表達(dá)出來的文章不會(huì)讓人覺得死板。
其次就是練習(xí)了。作文一定要自己動(dòng)手去寫。如果不動(dòng)手寫，只靠背寫范文和美句，就會(huì)在考場(chǎng)上有無的放矢的感覺。不管積累了多少好的句子，只有在自己的作文中準(zhǔn)確無誤的寫出，才是真正的屬于自己的。考研作文題材非常廣泛，基本上壓不到題，所以各種題材的作文都要練習(xí)。在考試的過程中，如果遇到類似的，或者你準(zhǔn)備在其他的題材的作文中某個(gè)句子和短語，用在了考場(chǎng)上，那么這就是勝利。練習(xí)各種題材的作文，主要是給自己積累一些專用術(shù)語。
比如：去年我寫過一篇關(guān)于教育的作文，我就想到了素質(zhì)教育和應(yīng)試教育，通過寫這篇作文，我學(xué)會(huì)examination- oriented education和quality-oriented education這兩個(gè)短語。在寫一篇關(guān)于環(huán)境保護(hù)的作文時(shí)，學(xué)會(huì)了濫砍濫伐(clear-cutting)和環(huán)保意識(shí)，水土保持等等這些短語的英文表達(dá)，經(jīng)驗(yàn)故事《知己知彼 考研英語作文順利過關(guān)招數(shù)》。在一篇關(guān)于描寫城市交通的作文中，又積累了關(guān)于高峰時(shí)間的兩種表達(dá)(rush hour /peak hour)，這也是寫作的一個(gè)小技巧，即在表達(dá)同一事物的時(shí)候，用不用的表達(dá)方法。
象這些都是我平時(shí)作練習(xí)時(shí)從書里面摘抄下來的，那本高分作文20天突破挺不錯(cuò)的，里面的內(nèi)容很全面的，涉及了各個(gè)方面的練習(xí)，我覺得應(yīng)該買一本試試。你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)好的文章同一個(gè)核心詞匯不會(huì)出現(xiàn)兩次。當(dāng)你掌握了這些很地道的英文表達(dá)，作文自然就會(huì)得心應(yīng)手。在練習(xí)的時(shí)候，一定要想方設(shè)法的`用上自己所積累的好的句子。那這種強(qiáng)迫變成了習(xí)慣，你就會(huì)覺得寫作的思維也會(huì)隨之改變。只要一落筆，就是那些美的句子，有了這種感覺，自己就會(huì)變得很自信。
最后就是關(guān)于一些諺語的應(yīng)用。一篇文章如果在開頭和結(jié)尾處用上一句諺語，那就是畫龍點(diǎn)睛。所以平時(shí)背一些諺語也是有必要的。去年，我在練習(xí)時(shí)積累了這樣一個(gè)諺語，united we stand，divided we fall.這個(gè)諺語的意思是，“團(tuán)結(jié)則存，分裂則亡�！眳⒓舆^去年考試的人都會(huì)知道，這個(gè)句子恰恰是翻譯的最后一句。當(dāng)我看到這個(gè)題目的時(shí)候，當(dāng)時(shí)心跳加速，想都沒想輕而易舉的拿下了！在這里我只想說對(duì)于英語的學(xué)習(xí)，貴在積累。雖然，我在練習(xí)作文的時(shí)間很長(zhǎng)，可是卻是受益匪淺。其實(shí)現(xiàn)在覺得作文還是比較好拿分的，只要是用心的去練習(xí)，成效是非常明顯的。
