therefore, he doesn’t have any time to play with me but i don’t blame him for that. i often spend a lot of my time on the computer, so i have something to do. my mother is usually on the phone and tells my father to get home early but my father doesn’t listen to her. so my mother and I sometimes are upset and i don’t like my father in a sense that he always gets home late.
I love my father but not his job!

Should we help others in need?
Helping others has always been a virtue in traditional Chinese culture. But what’s strange nowadays is that people dare not show their helping hands to those in need. I would like to elaborate my views on this issue.
Firstly, I think people’s moral sense has degraded. When egoism gains the upper hand, many people find it growingly hard to help others. Secondly, there is no denying that some tragic events turn out to be traps by people with evil intentions. So common people are becoming more risk-conscious and are more wary of traps and deceits.
In general, I contend the idea that we should be warm-hearted and offer help as well as look out for potential hazards so as not to be deceived.

眾人期盼的英語節(jié)終于拉開了帷幕。準(zhǔn)備充分的同學(xué)們一個個摩拳擦掌，躍躍欲試，想用實力證明五（1）班是最棒的！
換好了服裝，畫完了妝，同學(xué)們要出場了！同學(xué)們的眼睛炯炯有神，笑容燦爛極了，再加上充分的準(zhǔn)備，顯得精神抖擻，自信滿滿，令人感到無比的熱鬧。同學(xué)們用充分的準(zhǔn)備，用認(rèn)真的態(tài)度，用無限的潛力向全校證明了五（1）班已經(jīng)成為了一個團(tuán)結(jié)的集體！
我們班的舞蹈最有特色，用一個詞來形容——就是“氣派”。先是非洲鼓與爵士鼓挑釁，后來非洲鼓與爵士鼓合作了，齊心協(xié)力為跳舞的同學(xué)伴。這么好看的.節(jié)目應(yīng)該把它排哪呢？這肯定不會排在中間，這樣低估了這個節(jié)目，起碼要做開場舞或收場舞。對，就是開場舞。
當(dāng)金黃色的燈光匯聚在一起的時候，開場舞開始了，彩色的燈光交雜著，仿佛是一條條彩帶，伴著金黃色的陽光，肆意舞動著。濃厚又清脆的鼓聲，隨著動聽的歌聲響起。主音樂響起了，一群紅色的小人，從舞臺的兩側(cè)跑了出來，猶如一條紅色的巨龍，隨著音樂做著動作，熱鬧極了！
其他班級的表演也各具特長，其中最令大家震驚的便是五（2）班為同學(xué)們帶來的京劇臉譜。他們的動作并不難，但他們的歌喉不禁令人拍手叫好，那令人難以至信的高音確確實實是他們的實力。
五（2）班表演的京劇臉譜令大家大吃一驚，三年級帶來的“極地家園”也發(fā)人深省，他們用他們的表演向大家闡明了世界上氣候變暖、雪山消失的環(huán)境問題，向人們呼吁：保護(hù)環(huán)境，人人有責(zé)。
同學(xué)們精彩的表演告訴了我們許多道理，我覺得最重要的兩點就是：“世上無難事，只怕有心人”——在一個月左右的時間里，同學(xué)們可以利用課余時間排練出這么精彩的節(jié)目；人的潛能無限，只要去學(xué)習(xí)，去努力，一切就可能成功。
英語節(jié)帶給我們的不僅是快樂，它也使我們明白了許多道理，希望同學(xué)們能把這些道理運(yùn)用到實際中。

戴維森老師和其他老師很不同。他二十幾歲時試過報考英國空軍，但試了兩次也沒考進(jìn)去。但是他開飛機(jī)的愛好沒有消失，他有時在上英文課時會給我們講他開飛機(jī)的故事。他第一次告訴我們時，全班敬佩得五體投地。戴維森老師也騎著摩托車在歐洲環(huán)游過，我們每次找歐洲城市的照片給他看，他都知道在哪里。我真羨慕不已。
這一天，五年級有學(xué)生打架。我聽到戴維森老師生氣地說：“進(jìn)來！”四人慢慢吞吞地走了進(jìn)去。戴維森老師把四個孩子教訓(xùn)了一頓，取消他們兩個星期的'小息時間，還給他們自我反思表拿回家讓家長簽名，讓他們認(rèn)識自己的錯誤，最后還要到校長室道歉。我覺得戴維森老師這樣做很明智，他們以后就不會輕易犯同樣的錯誤了。
很多人都喜歡戴維森老師，他時不時會讓大家哈哈大笑。有一次，他為了讓我們理解簡單機(jī)械，和其他老師做了一個有許多簡單機(jī)械的機(jī)器。他們先用玩具弓箭讓大球移動，接著大球撞到小球，小球從管子滑下來，撞到多米諾牌，多米諾牌砸倒一盆水，砸到戴維森老師的頭上讓他“起床”。這個設(shè)計讓我們哈哈大笑。還有一次，全班表現(xiàn)得十分出色，戴維森老師非常高興，就給全班獎勵了十分鐘小息時間，我們興高采烈。

"yes, i did. how did you know?" he asked.
"well," said the policeman very seriously, "your ball flew out onto the highway and crashed through a drivers windshield. the car went out of control, crashing into five other cars and a fire truck. the fire truck couldnt make it to the fire, and the building burned down. so, what are you going to do about it?"
the golfer thought it over carefully and responded...
"i think ill close my stance a little bit, tighten my grip and lower my right thumb."
