春回大地，萬(wàn)物復(fù)蘇，我的嘴里也"發(fā)芽"了，長(zhǎng)出了白白的小牙。

以前別人總叫我“掉牙兒”，我盼望著那些小牙兒快長(zhǎng)出來(lái)，讓我不再當(dāng)那個(gè)"掉牙兒"，那可是大好事呢！就像米飯不會(huì)從牙縫里掉出來(lái)，說(shuō)話不會(huì)漏口風(fēng)。我在鏡子里看見(jiàn)我的小牙兒，用手輕輕摸了一下我的'小牙兒，好滑，舌頭舔到牙兒的時(shí)候很癢。
People used to call me "tooth dropping". I'm looking forward to those small teeth growing up soon, so that I can no longer be the "tooth dropping". That's a good thing! 下午，英語(yǔ)節(jié)開(kāi)演，身為觀眾而非演員的我，只能和大部分同學(xué)坐在教室內(nèi)在第三、四節(jié)課上觀看直播。沒(méi)辦法，誰(shuí)讓自己不是演員呢！誰(shuí)讓自己報(bào)名時(shí)不夠積極呢。誰(shuí)讓自己沒(méi)有這個(gè)在臺(tái)上展示口語(yǔ)的膽量呢。
臺(tái)上演員的表演一個(gè)個(gè)都十分精彩，臺(tái)下的我們卻只能觀賞這場(chǎng)大戲，做出一些“沒(méi)有什么用處”的歡呼喝彩、鼓掌。如此一來(lái)，臺(tái)上臺(tái)下，誰(shuí)更有價(jià)值，誰(shuí)的水平更高，誰(shuí)的處境更好……自然，也就一目了然了。絕對(duì)的，臺(tái)上的人比我這臺(tái)下的強(qiáng)多了。
先不說(shuō)誰(shuí)英語(yǔ)好、表演能力好、運(yùn)氣好，拋開(kāi)這些統(tǒng)統(tǒng)不提，單單是臺(tái)上的同學(xué)的敢于上臺(tái)的勇氣就足以令人敬佩，并且更勝我一籌了。雖然我以前也報(bào)過(guò)名，但那也僅僅是一個(gè)配角罷了，臺(tái)詞十句話都不到，而且，就算這個(gè)節(jié)目不表演了，難道我就不會(huì)投身到其他節(jié)目里嗎？是運(yùn)氣不好節(jié)目被淘汰掉了嗎？不是！是自己的英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)不強(qiáng)嗎？不是，我每天的外教課也不是白上的`！這一個(gè)又一個(gè)理由，只是蒼白而無(wú)力的謊言罷了。根本原因，并不如此。
真正的原因，是不自信。面對(duì)英語(yǔ)，缺乏勇氣，一心只想要逃避。一直這樣，又怎么會(huì)成為臺(tái)上的演員呢？始終這樣，就算過(guò)一百年也不用想上臺(tái)，但問(wèn)題是，我就真的不敢上臺(tái)嗎？不是。仔細(xì)想想，我哪個(gè)地方遜色于別人了？英語(yǔ)方面，我的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)?cè)诎嗬锊凰悴�，口語(yǔ)我也一直上著1對(duì)1外教課，有很大提升。臨場(chǎng)方面，從小到大，主持人領(lǐng)誦也不知當(dāng)過(guò)多少次，自然不怯場(chǎng)。技巧方面，在英語(yǔ)新概念課上表演課文內(nèi)容，我們組合總能在我的帶領(lǐng)下獲表演最佳，表演天分一點(diǎn)都不差。所以，由此可見(jiàn)，對(duì)于英語(yǔ)節(jié)節(jié)目，我有很多資本。既然如此，干嘛不去拼一把呢？

When he started to play basketball in NBA, I was so excited that I saw the news about him everyday. When he performed well, I was really happy for him. When he did not, I hoped he could rearrange himself and do well in the next game. What’s more, his personalities attract me as well. He is kind-hearted and humorous. He always smiles and is kind to very body, even his opponents. Although he does not play basketball anymore, I still like him. I hope he can do well in other fields as well.

I had a wonderful trip to Guilin with my parents this summer holiday. It is a small city in the northeast of Guangxi. It has more than 2,000 year’s history and the whole city is about 27,800 square kilometers. There are green mountains, clear waters, unique caves and beautiful stones there. The most famous tourist attractions are elephant trunk hill, Li River, reed flute cave and Seven-star Park. Elephant trunk hill is the symbol of the city. It is really a fantastic hill. It looks like a huge elephant drinking water by the Li River!
Ask your parents to bring you to Guilin next time. You can go there by air, by train or by bus and get around on free buses in the city. If you go, I can go with you. I would like to visit it again! I am sure we will have a great time there.
