Dear Michael,
I’m writing to tell you about a fantastic movie I have just watched, as we always share the same taste of movies.
The movie is Avatar, which tells a story of a soldier who, on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms, finds himself torn between two worlds in a fight for the survival of the alien people. Besides the touching and thrilling story, the movie also features brilliant visual effects, thanks to the talented director and advanced computer technology.
So I recommend it to you as one of the best movies I have ever watched. I’m sure you will love it as much as I do. I’m looking forward to discussing more with you after you watch it.

Maybe it sounds a little difficult but it really funny and classmates enjoy it very much.

我的英文本子安靜的躺在木桌上，陽(yáng)光映照在它方方正正的身體上，它已經(jīng)“沉睡”了很久了，雖然幾乎要被我遺忘了，但在做英語(yǔ)作業(yè)時(shí)還是會(huì)不由自主的將它喚醒。
它總是一副悠閑自在的模樣，躺在桌上享受著陽(yáng)光的沐浴。從正面看，它有一身紫紅色的光滑肌膚，側(cè)面看，便會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)它的側(cè)面皮膚可謂產(chǎn)生了嚴(yán)重的龜裂，甚至還帶有一點(diǎn)黑色的斑點(diǎn)，這明顯是歲月留下的痕跡，但在我看來(lái)，卻多了幾分美感。
英語(yǔ)本的表面曾經(jīng)一度淪落為我涂鴉的大好天地，各種顏色的彩筆都在它的身體上留下了了個(gè)不相同的印跡，四周似是為了更加美觀而添上了一圈黑色花邊作裝飾，正面居中處大大標(biāo)寫著“英語(yǔ)本”三個(gè)大字，上方還用一個(gè)黑圈框住三根蠟燭的圖案，但周圍顯然被傷害過(guò)了，但想必也給英語(yǔ)本帶來(lái)了幾分別樣的色彩。
它背面的左下方分明的印著“得力”二字，字的下面則詳細(xì)的介紹了這個(gè)本子的情況，但他實(shí)在是太陳舊了，如果沒(méi)有商標(biāo)的話，我認(rèn)為它是一個(gè)三無(wú)產(chǎn)品也說(shuō)奇不奇了，當(dāng)然，現(xiàn)在有了，那就另當(dāng)別論。
而它的內(nèi)部自然也少不了涂鴉的身影，這個(gè)本子是我三年級(jí)時(shí)學(xué)英語(yǔ)時(shí)送的.，里面呀記錄了我曾經(jīng)奮發(fā)圖強(qiáng)，力求上進(jìn)的樣子，里面的一筆一畫都顯得格外認(rèn)真，也可以說(shuō)是象征我成長(zhǎng)的一個(gè)東西，畢竟過(guò)了兩年，很多東西都已物是人非了。

由于學(xué)校的安排，原來(lái)的英語(yǔ)張老師換成了王老師，昨天是王老師給我們上的第一節(jié)課，同學(xué)們都很迫不及待，我卻沒(méi)有上好。
上課的時(shí)候，王老師在講臺(tái)上很投入地講著課，而我總心不在焉，一下子沒(méi)法全身體投入，不能盡快適應(yīng)課堂，也認(rèn)為這些知識(shí)自己全部都能掌握，所以老師講的知識(shí)點(diǎn)也沒(méi)有動(dòng)筆去記，等最后老師布置作業(yè)的時(shí)候才慢慢的進(jìn)入狀態(tài)，但是已經(jīng)晚了，一節(jié)課的時(shí)間也基本白白浪費(fèi)掉了，我沒(méi)聽明白老師的作業(yè)要求，所以寫的基本不照。
今天晚上，我掏出英語(yǔ)作業(yè)準(zhǔn)備寫，拿起筆來(lái)寫了五分鐘，一段小對(duì)話完成在作業(yè)本兒上，上面打的'打、劃的劃，卷面很不整潔，讓人感覺(jué)反而很亂。我拿到媽媽眼前讓她看了看，她板著臉，很生氣地說(shuō)：“這作業(yè)是咋寫的？”我又看了看本子，發(fā)現(xiàn)人稱代詞搭配不當(dāng)，也沒(méi)有按老師要求寫，但是在上課上把作業(yè)明明記住了，那為什么會(huì)寫錯(cuò)呢？腦子里對(duì)白天的課不清晰，單單只是一次書面作業(yè)，我卻寫了好幾遍，媽媽看出來(lái)我沒(méi)有認(rèn)真聽課，盡管我說(shuō)了一堆不是理由的理由，還是令她非常生氣。
媽媽讓我好好反思，并且第三次重新寫作業(yè)，我總結(jié)了這次作業(yè)完成不好的原因：如果上課認(rèn)真聽講，格式和方法不就早就記住心中了嗎，太不應(yīng)該了！如果課堂上記下來(lái)作業(yè)要求，寫在本子上，也不至于到晚上就忘了，重寫作業(yè)就不會(huì)浪費(fèi)這么多的時(shí)間。我對(duì)自己在新英語(yǔ)課上的表現(xiàn)很后悔，同時(shí)也付出了反復(fù)重寫，浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，睡覺(jué)晚的代價(jià)。以后我要吸取教訓(xùn)，抓住課堂上的40分鐘，好好利用，絕不能在犯這樣的錯(cuò)誤了。
