　　This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside，where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village，the water in which was quite clear.

　　I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work，I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.

　　I had a long holiday for May Day .I was very happy, because I could do anything I want.

　　During those days. I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then. I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting. Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house. My mother bought a lot of tasty foods for us, we also took many photos on the party.

　　How time flies,unconsciously the next winter vacation will soon e.In order to improve myself as well as enjoy a happy holiday,I made the winter vacation plan.

　　Firstly i want to continue with my study,i think study is a life process,so no matter what the situation I am in,i will look for chances to continue it.I have bought several new books ,including those books on my majorand some novels ,I will try to finish reading them in the holiday and write notes.

　　Secondly,since it is the holiday,I will share it with my family and friends .You know the spring festival will soon e, I believe I would chatting and play games with my friends and family .I think I will enjoy the vacation.
