最好的入學(xué)年齡 The Best Age of Entrance School
Some children go to school at the age offour, why is that? It is not a matter of the-earlier-the-better when we discussat what age children should go to school. As to me, it is unhealthy forchildren to start school too early.
有些孩子四歲就去上學(xué)了，為什么呢？在我們談?wù)摵⒆釉撛谑裁茨挲g上學(xué)的時(shí)候，不是越早越好的問(wèn)題。在我看來(lái)，孩子太早上學(xué)不健康。
First of all, psychologically speaking, children who attend school tooearly are forced into a premature situation, and thus bear more pressure thantheir peers. When they sit in a classroom full of competition from otherstudents who are two or three years older than them, it is difficult for themto deal with problems that others find easy to handle. Therefore, they mightlose confidence.
第一，就心理方面來(lái)說(shuō)，孩子太早上學(xué)就被迫地陷入不成熟的境遇，他們會(huì)比同輩的人受到更多的壓力。當(dāng)他們坐在一個(gè)充滿來(lái)自比他們大兩三歲的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手的教室中，而且別人很容易掌握的問(wèn)題，他們很難處理。這樣他們很容易失去信心。
Secondly, from the physical aspect, it is harmful for small children toshoulder the burden of schoolwork. According to the statistics, there are atleast 8,096 students in a single public school being overloaded wich homework.This results in many physical problems, such as short-sightedness and stuntedgrowth.
第二，從身體方面來(lái)說(shuō)，孩子過(guò)早地?fù)?dān)負(fù)學(xué)校作業(yè)是有害的。根據(jù)數(shù)據(jù)顯示，在一所公立學(xué)校就有8096個(gè)學(xué)生家庭作業(yè)超負(fù)荷。這個(gè)會(huì)引發(fā)許多身體毛病，例如近視和發(fā)育不良。
Last but not least, most of the children who attend school earlier thanothers do not receive a well-rounded education, and tend to fall behind whenthey enter high school.
最后但并非不重要，許多過(guò)早上學(xué)的孩子并沒(méi)有接受到全方位的教育，而且他們更容易在上高中的時(shí)候落后于其他人。
Ina word, i think that schooling should follow the natural growth of children’sbodied and minds. To start school too early is harmful for children bothmentally and physically. In my opinion, children should start school at leastafter seven years old.
總而言之，我認(rèn)為上學(xué)該遵照孩子的身體，心智自然發(fā)育而來(lái)。過(guò)早上學(xué)對(duì)孩子的心里和生理都不好。就我而言，孩子應(yīng)該在7歲之后上學(xué)。
