中學(xué)英語教學(xué)大綱中明確指出：“寫是書面表達和傳遞信息的交際能力。培養(yǎng)初步寫的能力，是英語教學(xué)的目的之一�！痹诮甑母呖贾杏⒄Z寫作也占有相當(dāng)比重。因此，在高中階段教師應(yīng)在指導(dǎo)和組織學(xué)生進行英語寫作上下功夫，在平時教學(xué)中應(yīng)有計劃有目的地去訓(xùn)練和提高學(xué)生的寫作能力。
一、學(xué)生能充分認(rèn)識英語寫作的重要性是寫作能力提高的必要條件。
英語寫作能力的提高需要持之以恒的長期訓(xùn)練。如果學(xué)生對寫作重要性認(rèn)識不夠，他們就不能積極主動地去配合老師搞好寫作訓(xùn)練，甚至產(chǎn)生逆反心理，產(chǎn)生對立情緒，英語寫作就會半途而廢，達不到預(yù)期目的。
在平時教學(xué)中，老師要經(jīng)常性地有意識地對學(xué)生進行寫作重要性的教育。學(xué)生一進入高中就要讓他們了解初中和高中英語教學(xué)要求的異同。
我給學(xué)生找?guī)追葜锌己透呖碱}，幫助他們了解中考和高考英語試題對基礎(chǔ)知識和基本技能要求的相同之處和不同之處，引導(dǎo)他們轉(zhuǎn)變觀念，更新和完善學(xué)習(xí)方法，要讓他們了解到英語寫作在高考中、實際運用中以及對將來繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)英語的重要性。
我還聯(lián)系在過去高考中英語取得優(yōu)異成績的畢業(yè)生，用書信介紹學(xué)好英語的方法，特別是在英語寫作方面的成功經(jīng)驗和英語寫作對他們當(dāng)時及后來英語學(xué)習(xí)的重要性。這些畢業(yè)生有很大的感召力，很有說服性，尤其對那些有逆反心理的學(xué)生。
二、指導(dǎo)寫作應(yīng)注意的幾個問題：
1．教師要有明確合理的教學(xué)計劃和教學(xué)程序，組織系統(tǒng)規(guī)范的有序訓(xùn)練。
2．幫助和要求學(xué)生養(yǎng)成積極主動地堅持英語寫作的良好習(xí)慣。
3．堅持循序漸進的訓(xùn)練原則。寫作要先易后難，先短后長，先學(xué)會運用簡單句、并列句，后學(xué)會用復(fù)合句表達，先寫正確句子逐步過渡到圍繞一個人、一件事、一個觀點去寫有中心的文章，由不限定時間到限定時間，由限定時間長到限定時間短，由限定字?jǐn)?shù)少到多……
4．分程度要求。對學(xué)生的要求不能一刀切，對學(xué)習(xí)好的要求要高，對學(xué)習(xí)差的要求要適當(dāng)?shù)鸵恍�。要避免有些學(xué)生輕而易舉垂手可得，而有些學(xué)生又可望而不可及的情況發(fā)生。
5．注意講評。要經(jīng)常指出優(yōu)點，以利模仿，指出缺點，警示避免。
6．鼓勵優(yōu)秀，耐心幫助差生。充分利用板報、專欄進行優(yōu)秀作文展覽，或者也可采用傳閱方式進行。但不能放棄或岐視差生，要經(jīng)常幫助他們樹立信心，掌握寫作方法和技巧。
7．基礎(chǔ)知識和能力并重，聽說讀和寫并舉。教師在平時教學(xué)中應(yīng)充分利用一切可以利用的機會啟發(fā)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生提高自己的寫作水平。如遇到優(yōu)秀的句、段或篇提示學(xué)生注意欣賞作者的`表達法，把它們作為范例，在自己寫作中加以模仿和運用。又如遇到英漢表達方法不同之處，提示學(xué)生注意英語的正確表達法，切忌出現(xiàn)漢語式的英語。要幫助學(xué)生養(yǎng)成正確運用標(biāo)點符號的好習(xí)慣，切忌一點到底的錯誤方法。
8．要求學(xué)生在寫作中寧簡勿誤，不能養(yǎng)成隨隨便便的習(xí)慣，要養(yǎng)成嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)推敲的風(fēng)氣。
三、訓(xùn)練寫作的常用方法。
寫作訓(xùn)練應(yīng)考慮循序漸進的原則，采取逐步提高的形式進行。
1．用學(xué)過的詞、短語或句式，模仿課文中的表達法造句。2．換課文中的人物、時態(tài)、語態(tài)或體裁等改寫課文。3．看圖作文。4．填補式作文。5．寫課文復(fù)述材料或?qū)懶牡皿w會。6．將打亂順序的句子按事件發(fā)展的時間順序或邏輯關(guān)系等整理成一篇完整的短文。7．教師給出題目和提綱讓學(xué)生寫作。8．寫日記或周記。9．材料作文。教師給出漢語提示讓學(xué)生用英語表達。
四、注意糾正學(xué)生英語作寫中容易出現(xiàn)的錯誤。
學(xué)生最初寫作時，教師要給予必要的指導(dǎo)，使他們少犯錯誤。教師還要經(jīng)常性地例舉錯誤的表達法，提醒學(xué)生注意避免。在批閱作文時教師要隨時標(biāo)出學(xué)生錯誤之處，還要隨時記錄學(xué)生所犯錯誤，把學(xué)生的錯誤加以歸類總結(jié)，把普遍性的錯誤提出來，讓學(xué)生集體改錯，使他們的語言表達盡可能地規(guī)范正確。
總之，學(xué)生英語寫作能力在老師有計劃的組織和耐心幫助、正確引導(dǎo)下，在學(xué)生長期積極密切的配合下是能夠得以逐步提高的。
