大家都知道,失敗總是伴隨著我們的生活。無(wú)論我們做什么,沒(méi)有人能說(shuō)我們肯定會(huì)成功,因?yàn)闆](méi)有所謂的一帆風(fēng)順。
About failure, different people have different opinions. Generally speaking, on one hand, people think "failure is the mother of success". They think we won't understand the profound meaning of success until we go through failure. On the other hand, for some people, failure is frustration. They think if a person goes through too much failure, he will collapse and lose confidence in his life.

英語(yǔ)高中作文 篇5
how should we read? should we read selectively or etensively? everyone has his own view.
some people think we should read selectively. they argue that with the development of modern science and technology, more and more books are published every day. it is impossible for us to read all the books. what’s more, there are many bad books that are poisonous to our mind, and we shouldn’t read them. since we can’t read all the books, and we shouldn’t read bad books, we must read selectively.
but others many not agree. they emphasize that today’s society is not what it used to be. if you want to be successful, you must read widely and acquire knowledge in both natural sciences and humanities. if a man knows much in one field but little in others, he may not be of great use to the society. since we must have a wide range of knowledge, we must read etensively.
who’s right? there is a lot to be said for both sides of the argument. however, i think we should read etensively first and then read selectively and dig into the subject we want to specialize in. (194 words)
英語(yǔ)高中作文 篇6
We are now living in a common home. That is the earth. She provides us with enough food, enough water and enough living room. So we must do everything to protect her. There are lots of big or small, red or green, beautiful gardens around us .But there are still some other lands bare of grasses or trees on the earth. Some people may ask why not led all lands covered with trees, flowers and grasses? Why not prevent the lands from being desert? Why not prevent the air from being polluted? And why not prevent the earth from being poisoned? Yes! Our environment is being polluted faster than nature and man’s efforts can prevent. Time is bring us more people, and more people will bring us more industry. So many trees will be cut down, and more large cities will be set up. Lots of waste material, in return, is produced and harms the environment. So some experts declare that the balance of nature is being destroyed. The survival of man is in danger. We feel really sad about it. What can we do to solve this problem? We must forbid cutting down trees and forbid killing animals and pouring waste water into rivers and so on. We’ll never destroy the balance of nature. Let’s get along well with all animals. Let the trees, flowers and grasses come back to our home. Because we have only one home --- the earth.
英語(yǔ)高中作文 篇7
The Advantage And Disadvantage of Part-time Job
As students of today have to pay much attention to our lessons and know little of society though it’s not our fault.A holiday is the best time to make up for that.Taking a part-time job is a good form of social practice. What is learned in books can’t have the same deep effect on us as what is learned through experience. In social practice,we can surely make progrein both knowledge and ability.Besides, taking a part-time job,we may get paid more or leto help our family.
Thus,I will say a senior school student should take a part-time job in holidays, if possible , of course.
