英語作文:I had a bad dream

  英語作文:I had a bad dream 1

“I had another bad dream,” she told her fiancé. “It was about you again. You and your ex-girlfriend were kissing. I yelled at you to stop it. You looked right at me, and then you laughed at me! She laughed, too. Then you both went back to kissing. I tried not to watch, but when I covered my eyes, something pulled my hands away. I tried to leave, but my feet were glued to the ground. Finally, I woke up. Of course, it was very difficult to get back to sleep.

“I had to drive home from Las Vegas this morning. It’s a wonder I didn’t crash 50 times. Instead of seeing traffic in front of me, all I saw was you and her. I can’t take any more dreams like this. We’re going to have to break up. We can be friends, but just friends. That way, I won’t be jealous anymore, and I won’t have these bad dreams anymore.”

“Why didn’t you call me up and tell me about your dream?” he asked. “They say that the more you talk about bad dreams, the sooner you’ll stop having them.”

She disagreed. She thought that the only solution was to break up and be just friends. She loved him, but these dreams had become so frequent that she was actually afraid to go to sleep. She was losing weight and having stomachaches from the stress.

He didn’t know what to do. He wanted her to have pleasant dreams. He wanted her to have a life without stress. He wanted her to be his wife. This was it, she repeated; if she had just one more bad dream, they were through. He squeezed her hand, but said nothing.

  英語作文:I had a bad dream 2

Last night, I experienced one of the most unsettling nights in recent memory. It all started when I went to bed just before midnight. The day had been long and filled with ordinary activities, but as soon as my head hit the pillow, my mind seemed to transport me into a completely different world.

In my dream, I found myself walking alone in a vast, desolate landscape under an ominously dark sky. Every step I took echoed loudly in the silence, making my heart race. Suddenly, a chilling wind began to blow, carrying whispers that seemed to call out my name. My breath caught in my throat as I realized there was no one around, yet the voices continued.

The path ahead of me twisted and turned unpredictably, leading me deeper into this eerie place. Shadows danced at the edges of my vision, never quite coming into focus but always present, lurking just out of reach. My attempts to find my way back were futile; it felt like I was trapped in this nightmare, unable to escape its clutches.

Then, from the darkness, a figure emerged. It was barely discernible, shrouded in a cloak that blended into the night. I tried to run, but my legs felt like they were moving through quicksand. Just as the figure approached me, I woke up, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily.

Sitting up in my bed, I looked around the room, reassuring myself that I was safe and that it had only been a dream. However, the feelings of fear and unease lingered for some time. This experience reminded me of the power our minds have to create vivid worlds even while we sleep, and it made me appreciate the peace and security of waking life all the more.

  英語作文:I had a bad dream 3

Last night, I had one of the most frightening dreams that left me tossing and turning in bed, unable to fall back asleep. In my dream, I found myself lost in an endless maze made of tall hedges that seemed to stretch up to the sky. No matter which direction I turned or how many paths I tried, I couldnt find my way out.

The deeper I went into the maze, the darker it became. Suddenly, the air grew cold, and a thick fog rolled in, making it almost impossible to see more than a few feet in front of me. Just when I thought things couldnt get any worse, I heard eerie sounds all around me, like whispers calling my name from the shadows. My heart raced with fear as I ran blindly through the maze, desperate to escape.

Just when I felt completely trapped and hopeless, I saw a faint light in the distance. With all my might, I sprinted towards it, not looking back. As I reached the light, I suddenly woke up, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. It took me a moment to realize that it was just a dream.

Reflecting on the experience, I understood that sometimes our fears can seem overwhelming, much like being lost in a maze. But theres always a way out if we keep moving forward and dont give up. Even though bad dreams can be terrifying, they remind us to appreciate the safety and comfort of our waking lives.
