In our daily life or on our way to success, we will meet many challenges that bring us into troubles. Some of them may depress us a lot, making us think of giving up. Therefore, a strong will that believe in our success is necessary.
在我們的生活中或是通往成功的道路上，我們會遇到很多的挑戰(zhàn)，使我們陷入麻煩之中，有點(diǎn)可能會讓我們感到絕望，因而想要放棄。因此，相信必定成功的堅強(qiáng)意志是很有必要的。
A strong will is the base of success, especially when it comes to the challenge or even the hopeless situation, a man with a strong will would stand out from ordinary people. Actually, it’s often the difficulty that makes the strong will particularly important. In real life, a strong-willed person often owns some other good qualities, such as self-confidence, self-esteem, self-reliance and responsibility. Such people usually are prepared to take responsibilities and hardheaded, therefore they are likely to be successful, because success is a meant-to-be result rather than casual luckiness. Relatively speaking, a weak-willed person is often timid and hesitant. Such people are hardly to realize their goals. In short, a person with a strong will and full of faith can achieve great success in his life.

Nothing succeeds without a strong will
There is a prevalent joke around young people saying that quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world, and Ive done it for hundreds of times. This seemingly funny statement ironically reflects the fact that the determination of most youngsters is oftentimes started with enthusiasm, but the passion becomes increasingly weaker each day, and then diminishes as if there has been no such thing at all.
It is obvious that their failure in quitting smoking and decline of determination are all ascribed to their lack of will. Initially, every success involves several stages of setbacks and risks, and we need to summon up our will to conquer them. Moreover, there are enormous temptation in our path of pursuit of success. For instance, when we plan to quit smoking, our roommates may smoke freely in front of us; when we are eager to keep fit, our close friends may invite us to have late night snacks. Under these occasions, only strong will can assist us to resist the temptation, and persist in chasing our goals until we triumphantly realize them.
In short, no dream will successfully come true if we do not have strong will. An old famous proverb says that where there is a will, there is a way. Let us bear this motton in mind no matter how many thunders and thorns are on our roads ahead, then we will be successful with such precious and powerful spirit.

A well-known proverb goes that “where there is a will, there is a way”, which means that one can find a way to success as long as he or she has a strong will. With a strong will, one can focus all his energy on one point, which makes his success possible. Without a strong will, however, one can be easily distracted from his goal or discouraged by setbacks, which leads to his ultimate failure.
History abounds with examples of strong-willed figures winning success. Actually, there is no better illustration of the proverb than the deeds of Gou Jian, king of Yue in ancient China. Defeated by Fu Chai, king of Wu, Gou tried every means possible to steel his will. Eventually, with the help of Fan Li and Xi Shi, he managed to rebuild his country and his armies and had Fu Chai taste the bitterness of failure.
In short, a strong will is essential if we want to make achievements in our studies or work, or indeed in any other aspect of our lives. One should lose no chance to strength his will and remember, God helps those who help themselves.

Since I go to high school, I live in the school and stay away from my parents. I have three roommates, at the beginning, we have trouble in staying in the same room, but now we have got used to it.
One of my roommates impresses me so much, since she comes to our room, she keeps the habit of reading the novel when we go to bed. She told me that when she lived with her parents, she dared not to read it because her mother would blame her for sleeping late. Now she is very happy that she is out of control, it seems that she is free.
But I feel sorry for her, because she is short-sighted now, what’s more, she is lagging behind other students in the study. Staying away from her parents, she is not strong enough to behave herself. We should have the strong will and behave ourselves.
