Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

On new year's eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on new year's eve.

So during the fifteen days, we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time,children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival.
It names the Lantern Festival. Then the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

煙花，是小孩子們春節(jié)最愛玩的。我喜歡那種沒有響聲的“電光火花”，點(diǎn)燃后拿在手里，多像魔術(shù)師手里的魔法棒�。 半姽饣鸹ā眹姵龅幕鸹ň腿缤粋�(gè)個(gè)頑皮的小精靈，在空中跳躍著，嬉戲著。不過，那些調(diào)皮地男孩子可不喜歡“電光火花”，他們喜歡聲音響亮、刺激的“甩炮”。他們不時(shí)地從兜里掏出一只，用力往地上一甩，“啪”地一聲大響。如果你正好從那兒經(jīng)過，肯定會(huì)嚇得一個(gè)激靈，那些“小調(diào)皮們”則哈哈大笑。
當(dāng)然，孩子們最喜歡的還是大禮花炮。當(dāng)禮花炮點(diǎn)燃，各種各樣的圖案，五彩繽紛的顏色就會(huì)呈現(xiàn)在空中。有的禮花炮沖上天空如同花蝴蝶般紛紛揚(yáng)揚(yáng)灑落下來；有的禮花炮沖上天變成了牡丹花、菊花，猶如花仙子在空中翩翩起舞；還有的禮花炮沖上天后變成大大的“笑臉”，仿佛在向大家說：“新年快樂！”春節(jié)的味道就在這煙花中綻放開來。
