Water Pollution-水污染（1）

　　Spring is tht best season of the year. The weather gets warmer and warmer. My clas i'amates and I took a one-day sightseeing around our city.The scene was pretty. But when we saw the rivers along our city, I felt very sorry, and thoughit a lot.

　　With the development of modern agriculture and industry, more and more waste water is being poured into rivers. It has caused serious pollution. The river is becoming so dirty that no living things can live in it. The river is giving off a terrible smell.

　　We make an urgent appeal that measures should be taken to cope with the situation. Our government should start building various facilities such as sewage treatment!plant and encourage scientists to work out more and better ways to reduce the pollution of water.

　　Water is tho source of our lives. It is very important to protect water.

　　春天是一年中最好的季節(jié)，天氣變得越來越暖和。我和我的同學們進行了一次環(huán)城一日游，所到之處景色宜人。但當我看到沿著城區(qū)流過的河流時，我感到很惋惜，想了很多。

　　隨著現(xiàn)代工農(nóng)業(yè)的發(fā)展，越來越多的污水排進河里，河水被嚴重污染。河水變得如此的骯臟以致于生物不能在里面生活。河水發(fā)出難聞的氣味。

　　我們急切呼吁采取措施改變這種狀況。政府應當建立各種設備，例如污水處理廠，并且鼓勵科學家們想出更多更好的辦法以減少水污染。

　　水是生命之源，保護水資源十分重要。

　　My classmates and I had an outing this spring. We had a good time. But meanwhile I noticed that water pollution in our city was becoming more and more serious.

　　On our way, we could see women washing clothes in the river. Litter was floating on the river. Waste water produced by a chemical factory was being discharged into the river. We did not see any fish in the river. The fiver was not so clear as before. Water quality was very bad. I am worried

　　about it because water is important to all living things. Man can not live without water. I hope people pay more attention to this problem, especially the government. Try to control the pollution of water as early as possible.

　　At last I would like to say,

　　今年春天，我和我的同學去春游，我們玩得都很高興。但同時，我也注意到我們城市的水污染變得越來越嚴重了。

　　沿途我們看到許多婦女在河邊洗衣，河面上漂著垃圾，一家化工廠正將廢水排入河中。河中看不到一條魚，河水也不像從前那樣清澈了，水質(zhì)很差。對此我深感擔憂，因為水對于所有生物都非常重要。沒有水人類將無法生存。我希望人們能多關(guān)注這個問題，特別是政府部門，爭取及早解決水污染問題。

　　最后，我想說“保護水就是保護生命。”

　　It has been estimated that smokers have made up half of the population in China. And the smokers are becoming younger and younger, even ineluding some middle school students.

　　Nowadays more and more people have realized smoking can do harm to people'shealth. However, some people still enjoy smoking. Why? Because some of them think it is a kind of fashion, some think it is of great fun and others, think that smoking can refresh themselves.

　　In fact, smoking is a bad habit. (Motivational model yuedu.mipang.com)It can cause a lot of diseases. Meanwhile smoking is a waste of money. Besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.

　　Smoking is harmful and it is not only bad for smokers themselves, but also bad for non-smokers.

　　Therefore, I hope all the smokers can give up smoking for themselves and also for the people around them.

　　吸煙對人們的身體百害而無一利。它不僅有害吸煙者本人，而且對不吸煙者也會造成損害。

　　因此，我希望吸煙者為自己和身邊的人們而戒煙。

　　It is said that there are about half of people in China are smoking.Many young boys and girls have the habit of smoking, though they are middle school students.

　　As we all know, smoking does great harm to human beings. More and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. But they are never bored with it. Some people think it is a kind of fashion, some think it is of great fun and others think

　　that smoking can refresh themselves.

　　Smoking causes many illnesses. A lot of people always cough because of smoking. The most serious illness caused by smoking is lung cancer. Meanwhile smoking is a waste of money. Besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.

　　In order to keep healthy, we should get rid of the bad habit of smoking. Please stop smoking at once.
